The Redmi Note 11 Pro series is launching soon in India and prior to the event, here’s a collection of everything we know about it.
Xiaomi’s Redmi Note 11 Pro is reaching the global markets soon and before that happens, the world of smartphone leaks has spoilt Xiaomi’s party. The leaks have revealed most of the specifications and even its official renders, thereby leaving nothing to the imagination. An no surprise, the global variant is loosely based on the Xiaomi 11i series, which currently sells in China as the Redmi Note 11 Pro.
This year though, Xiaomi is bringing 5G connectivity to the Note lineup. Hence, there will be a standard Redmi Note 11 Pro as well as a Redmi Note 11 Pro 5G. As part of the non-Pro variants, the Redmi Note 11 will be the standard model in the series while a Redmi Note 11S is expected to arrive with this one later. Considering the prices of the Redmi Note 10 Pro currently, the Redmi Note 11 Pro duo are expected to cost a lot more.
Redmi Note 11 Pro LEAKS: What do we know so far
Redmi Note 11 Pro Design
Based on the leaked renders from MySmartprice, the Redmi Note 11 Pro looks largely identical to the Xiaomi 11i. That said, the similarities end at the boxy design. The frame on the sides appear to be shiner and the overall phone seems slimmer. The camera hump has a different 3D layout, with the main camera jutting out of it. The front looks similar to most midrange Xiaomi phones these days, featuring a camera cutout sitting in the center. The bezels are almost absent.
Redmi Note 11 Pro Display
Nothing is known about the display details on the Redmi Note 11 Pro and Redmi Note 11 Pro 5G. However, we expect the display to measure 6.67-inches and feature a 120Hz AMOLED display, similar to what we saw on the Xiaomi 11i.
Redmi Note 11 Pro Performance bits
The leak reveals that the Redmi Note 11 Pro 4G variant could rely on the MediaTek Helio G96 chipset. The Helio G96 is slightly inferior to the Snapdragon 732G from the Redmi Note 10 Pro in benchmarks but real-world performances could vary.
The Redmi Note 11 Pro 5G is said to feature a Snapdragon 700 series 5G chip. Nobody knows any details on the chip but rumours suggest a Snapdragon 750G, or the possibility of the Snapdragon 695. Both phones are expected to debut with MIUI 13 globally, although India could get it with MIUI 12.5.
Redmi Note 11 Pro Cameras
So far, we know from the leaks that both the 4G and 5G variants could end up using the 108MP camera from the previous generation model. The other three cameras are expected to be an 8MP ultra-wide, a 2MP macro and a 2MP depth camera. We believe the setup could e similar to the one from the Xiaomi 11i.
Redmi Note 11 Pro Battery
Both the 4G and 5G variants of the Redmi Note 11 Pro are said to rely on a 5000mAh capacity battery. That said, the phones will support up to 120W of fast charging but will ship with a 67W charger in the box.
